I read a letter in Beacon Letters, written by Vincent A Kenneally, stating that the National Assembly Election is on 8th May.
I can reliably inform you that it is on the 5th May.
Please check the Electoral Commission website for further details electoralcommission.org.uk
You will also find on the website, that the AV Electoral Referendum is on the same day, as well as the Northern Ireland Assembly Election, some of the English Local Government Elections and the Scottish Parliament Election.
