A dilapidated toilet block in the middle of Chepstow is hoping to be flushed with success after being transformed into an exciting new takeaway. Beveridge & Co opened last Friday (1st August) in the former public toilets behind the Old Bell Chambers. There is no provision for seating because of the small size of the premises but instead, Beveridge & Co brings an innovative new style take-out for drinks and snacks. "I wanted to sell only the best products and as much local produce as possible so, for example, our cakes come from a Taste Award-winning local company," said owner Julie Le Peltier, the driving force behind the new venture on Rifleman's Way. "We also wanted to bring in exciting things that you can't get anywhere else nearby such as bubble tea and Mighty Matcha tea. "These products are fashionable and lots of youngsters are really excited to be able to get them here in Chepstow," said Julie.
