Monmouth Town Council's Civic Service will be held on Sunday 12th June.

The new mayor, Councillor Gerry Bright, with the mace bearers, town clerk and councillors, will be assembling at the Shire Hall from 2.15pm onwards, and along with the Welsh Transport Regiment Corps of Drums, other dignitaries, representatives and groups, the parade is due to set off at 2.45pm for the service at St Mary's Parish Church at 3pm.

The parade this year will be marching along a much shorter route – from the Shire Hall and into St Mary's Church from the Priory Street entrance, in order to avoid incurring traffic management costs associated with road closures.

Monmouth Town Band will be playing at the Shire Hall from 2pm.
