WITH Chinese New Year taking place on Thursday 19th February, the Shangri-La restaurant in Chepstow will be holding its annual Lion Dance on Sunday 1st March – held within the official 15 days of the lunar festival.
Shangri-La has held the Lion Dance event for the past seven years, raising money for The British Red Cross and sharing the Chinese culture with a large number of people in the town.
The Lion Dance has become a popular free event over the years and will be taking place from around 4.30pm on St Mary Street, Chepstow.
