A 21-year-old male from Chepstow has been disqualified from driving for 12 months and fined £900 after pleading guilty to dangerous driving.

In July 2026 the Chepstow man performed a wheelie on the A48 in Chepstow, captured on dash cam and then went on to ride one handed, appearing to show off to other road users.

Officers examined the footage and were able to identify the moped and its rider.

The police said that riding in this matter is not harmless fun and often has serious consequences and reassured the community that they will continue to take a robust approach against those who pose the most risk on the roads.
