A GoFund me campaign quickly gained momentum as it was shared into various social media groups, reflecting the generosity and kindness of those helping to rebuild a life shattered by a house fire.

A local resident, Jodi Bevan reached out to Chris’s son to see if she could set up the GoFund me page to help support him in this devastating time.

“He has lost everything; the house needs to be rebuilt,” said Jodi. “We’ve raised about £1600 so far and people have donated clothes.

“He’s lost everything, all personal possessions and memories, any donations to him would be amazing.”
