Bridges Community Centre has been left reeling after lead thieves targeted the building in the early hours of last Friday (5th November).

The lead on the roof above Agincourt Hall was stripped and removed, leaving it open to potential damage.

Bridges' centre director Mark Walton (pictured) said: "This is the third time the centre has been hit since I became director.

"It's so upsetting, as the centre is trying to raise enough money just to keep going, without unnecessary expenses such as this.

"The thieves risked their own lives to climb onto the roof, but they must be clever as they didn't disturb any tiles.
