SIR,

On the weekend of 16th and 17th October we were helping my mum to move from Monmouth to Yorkshire – a big move in more ways than for all of us as Monmouth has been our base for most of our adult lives and Mum has lived there for about 50 years.

The skies were clear and blue and I took many photos of different places with Mum, her cottage and surrounding area.

On Saturday or Sunday evening we went to Pizza Express and, I think, on helping Mum out of the car, I must have dropped my camera.

When I realised and went back, it had gone.

I am very upset by this as the opportunity cannot be repeated.

I was going to put all the latest photos into a frame for Mum's new flat.

Please anyone, if you picked it up, you can keep the camera  (a Canon), but I would ask that the memory card possibly be delivered to the Beacon offices, the local police station or Skidmores estate agents.
