Bev Bowen was a much-loved lady who cared deeply for people with dementia and their families and friends.
In memory of this, and also of her many years of support for the work of the Alzheimer's Society, we are renaming the Alzheimer's Society Monmouth Memory Café in her memory.
From July 2011 the Memory Café will be officially known as 'Bev's Place'.
Anyone who knew Bev is warmly invited to attend the Dementia Awareness Week event at which the renaming will take place.
This event is also open to anyone wishing to learn more about memory problems and dementia and the services provided to help people with dementia to continue to live well.
Please join us on Tuesday 5th July at 2pm in the Wye Room of Bridges Community Centre, Wonastow Road, Monmouth NP25 5AS.
Light refreshments will be served.
