The Trothy Bridge is a historic road bridge located approximately 1,000 meters south of Monmouth. Spanning the River Trothy, the structure likely dates back to the 17th century. It was later documented on a 1712 estate map before being reconstructed in the early 19th century as a turnpike bridge.
