The poem was written by Abertillery-born author Robert Atkins, Son of Jonah: A Child’s Christmas in a Whale reimagines the biblical story of Jonah as a child’s Christmas adventure. The young Jonah finds himself inside a great fish, where faith, friendship, humour and the companionship of a very special cat, Jaspera, combine in an unusual seasonal tale.
