THE St John Ambulance Hall in Monmouth has been revamped by volunteers.

Five HSBC workers from in and around Monmouthshire volunteered their time to help restore the hall in St Mary Street on Saturday 18th September.

Alan Morgan, divisional officer in charge of the Monmouth Division, said their assistance was greatly appreciated.

"We were delighted that the HSBC employees were able to help us with the refurbishment of the hall," he said.

"We only have a few more bits to finish ourselves now, which is great.
