WEST Gloucestershire Art Society once again held a successful, exciting exhibition of member’s 2D and 3D art at the Shire Hall in Monmouth last week.

Over the five days more than 500 visitors enjoyed the show.

The Protheroe Prize was awarded to Martin Bills with his drawing ‘Forest of Dean.’ The award is named after the late Handel Protheroe, art teacher at Lydney School of Art

Visitors also voted for their best in show and that accolade went to Viki Tyrell with ‘Mr. Hare.’
