Ashfield Park School held a coffee morning in support of the World's Biggest Coffee Morning in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. Parents and friends enjoyed coffee and cakes donated by the school staff. There was also a chance to win a prize at the tombola stall. The children were invited to come to school wearing green instead of their usual uniform for a small donation and this raised more than £200. The teaching assistants who organised and ran the event are confident that the total monies raised will top last year's total of £350.
