CASH and electrical items have been stolen in two Chepstow burglaries.

Sometime between 11pm on Sunday 4th December and 5.30am on Monday 5th December two burglaries took place in Chepstow, one in Preston Close and the other in Bishops Close.

During the burglaries cash and electrical items were taken.

Anyone who has information about these burglaries, or saw anything suspicious, can call 101 quoting the relevant log number 5/12/16 for the Preston Close incident or 51 5/12/16 for the Bishops Close incident.

A Gwent Police spokesperson said: “Please take a moment to review your home security. Always make sure you lock your doors and windows, even if you are upstairs and never leave items such as bags, keys or wallets on view to a passer-by.”
