THIEVES stole two quad bikes and garden tools from a locked outbuilding in the Llanfaenor area of Newcastle in an overnight raid at the weekend (Saturday-Sunday June 13 -14).

A Honda Trx 420 quad bike with a crate on the back and front and a missing left indicator, reg OU64 AVN, was taken.

And they also stole a Finns Polaris 90cc sportsman quad bike. a Stihl saw , a Stihl brush cutter strimmer, a Parker brush cutter strimmer and other tools.

All the equipment was locked away, but they broke in and cut fences to get away.

The family are said to be “absolutely gutted” and have appealed for people to be on the lookout for the distinctive Honda quad bike and other items.
