Amazed at progress in price of fuel in town

I have to admit my amazement at the progressing reduction in the price of fuel at Monmouth’s only petrol station.

This has happened following our e-mails to Shell, describing the damage the consistently extortionate price was having on our local economy.

Drivers were choosing to shop in neighbouring towns, while they filled their car with more reasonably-priced fuel.

Maybe the price drop is a coincidence,but it is surely possible,that Monmouth’s voice has been heard.?Thank you to everyone that communicated with Shell.Please be clear that I am not advocating buying any more oil-based fuel than is absolutely necessary,but meanwhile,I feel that this is good news for Monmouth.
