WALES' Over 60s football team is gearing up for next Sunday's clash against England due to be played at Mathern Athletic Club's ground.
Their most experienced veteran is Paul Caviel, from Merthyr who played professional football for Bristol City and Hereford United before joining his hometown club.
The 64-year-old played alongside a number of famous players of yesteryear including the late Aston Villa and England striker Gerry Hitchens and Welsh legend John Charles.
Wales' team consists of players from the Welsh League and is set to include Jeff Dudley, 67, who will be the oldest Welsh player on the pitch.
Their opponents can call on pro-players like former Sheffield Wednesday, Southend and Millwall defender, Dave Cusack while their oldest player is assistant manager Ken Pollock, 66.
Both coaches are keeping their final team selection to themselves. The match on Sunday 14th December kicks off at 2pm and admission is free.
