Having had the best season in the history of the team, Usk Netball Club have a chance to clinch victory in the Wye Valley Netball League by winning the final showdown of the season on Tuesday 16th April.

This is the first time Usk have had a chance at the trophy during their history in the league.

Usk will play Habs Monmouth in the last game of the season, in what is sure to be a dramatic and nail biting finale.

The season has been a fantastic reward for much hard work. The enjoyable netball played by all has culminated in Usk recording 15 wins out of 20 matches this season.

Matches have been closely fought all winter, with wins over Chepstow, Monmouth and Allsorts (Ross) being the highlights.

All members of the club have rallied together to train and play hard, resulting in the brilliant results everyone has been able to enjoy.

The team has gone from strength the strength under excellent captaincy and coaching, with reliable and consistent performances from all members.

A friendly and welcoming club, Usk Netball Ladies certainly have their positive and sociable attitude to thank for such fantastic results and this rewarding and enjoyable season.

Usk Netball Club prides itself on being a welcoming and friendly club. They offer sociable netball training with a great atmosphere and social evenings too.

There is also the opportunity to join the team to play more competitive netball within the Wye Valley League.

The club welcomes any new players and is holding an open training session on Thursday April 18th at Usk Athletics Club, 6pm to 8pm.
