This Sunday (20th January), Monmouth Leisure Centre is hosting the Central Zonal Schools Trampolining Championships.

There will be nearly 400 youngsters from West Midlands, East Midlands, East Anglia and Wales competing in five age groups, U11, U13, U15 and U19.

This will include some performers who have competed for Britain.

The local trampolinists involved are Tomos Rees, from Osbaston, and the team of girls, Kirsty Maylin, Katie John, Jessica Maylin and Serena Natt, from Overmonnow School.

Two other members of the Monmouth Trampoline Club have qualified for this competition; they are Morgan Bain, from Llanfoist, and Eran Collins, from The Dell School, Chepstow, who will both be competing in the Under 11 Elite competiton.
