IN the March grading competition two new members of the Monmouth Trampoline Club gained their first medals and Anna Porter won her first Gold Medal. Anna won the Regional Three Under 11 group, with Halle Unsworth in second place. William Wood won the Gold in the Regional 1 Under 13 Boys event and Chloe Long came third in the Regional 1 Under 11 Girls competition. The club also had first and second in the Regional 4 Under 11 group. Tayah Jones came first with Jessica Maylin second equal. In the Regional 3 Under 11 event Zoe Cripwell came fifth, and with Anna and Halle they won the team event. Other medal winners were Rose Jorgensen-Rideout who won Gold in the NDP 4 Under 17 group, Rebecca Geen won Silver in the NDP 5 Under 15 group, and Laura Pritchard won Silver in the Regional 4 Under 17 group. In the April Grading Competition Tayah Jones and Jessica Maylin again came first and second, but in the Regional 3 group Zoe Cripwell turned the tables on Anna and Halle by winning the bronze medal, with Anna fourth and Halle fifth. Again they won the team prize. Tomos Rees won the Regional 4 Under 11 Boys event, and William Wood came second in the Regional 1 Boys event. Rose Jorgensen-Rideout again won the Under 17 NDP 4 event with a good score of 45.4, and Rebecca Geen won the Bronze in the Under 15 NDP 5 event with a score of 49.0. Rose and Rebecca have now qualified for the national finals in Exeter in June. In the Regional 4 Under 15 group Dawn Dainty (seventh), Darcy Birkett (ninth) and Taryn Birkett (tenth) came second in the team event.
