THE Great Britain under-19 softball team dominated the Tournoi des Expos in Ermont, near Paris, on the weekend of 14th to 15th March with two squads winning both the cup and the plate competitions.
Ex-Monmouth School pupil Rob Mosley (2nd from left, back row) played a key role and was mentioned for his excellent offensive contributions in the Plate Final where GB won 9-1 vs Montigny.
The Paris event was an ideal opportunity to give the under-19 players some quality game time leading into the Great Britain Fastpitch League and the European and World Championships which will follow later this summer.
Mosley began playing softball in Year 10 at Monmouth School and played for their team, the Monmouth Rockets, for three subsequent seasons, helping them gain promotion to the Bristol 2nd division.
