YOUNG rugby players were treated to a masterclass this weekend as former Monmouth School student and Wales rugby international Hallam Amos took part in a coaching session with Monmouth Rugby Club.

Players old and new, up to the age of 15, were invited to take part in the training session at Chippenham Fields on Sunday 8th November.

Hallam, who featured in Wales’ World Cup campaign, along with fellow Monmouth Rugby Club Ambassador Cameron Watson Boycott, inspected the facilities before getting involved in the coaching session.

The two players later signed rugby balls and were on hand to speak to the youngsters, inspiring a number of aspiring superstars.
