Morgan Bain, from Llanfoist Fawr Primary School, became the Welsh Schools Under 11 Elite Champion with a score of 48.8, which is the highest score that anyone from the Monmouth Trampoline Club has ever scored.
Eran Collins, representing The Dell Primary School, Chepstow, came second with 42.5. In the Under 11 Novice event Tomos Rees, from Osbaston CIW Primary School, came third with 42.6, and now all three boys will go forward to the Central Zonal Championships, at Abertillery on 20th January.
The team of girls from Overmonnow Primary School have also qualified for the above Championships by winning the Under 11 Novice Competition.
The team will be Jessica Maylin, who came 4th with 44.1, Katie John who came 10th with 43.0, Kirsty Maylin who came 12th with 42.1 and Serena Natt who came 24th with 40.3. Miah Natt and Cara Natt also competed coming 30th and 32nd respectively.
Bethan Carlton, representing Osbaston CIW Primary School, came sixth with 44.0, and Emma Hale, from The Dell, came 23rd in the same competition.
Morgan Bain narrowly missed becoming the Welsh Under 11 Boys Champion on Sunday 9th December.
On two of his routines he had the highest score, but unfortunately his other routine was terminated after only four moves because of a one-foot landing.
In the Under 13 Girls event, Rebecca Geen came ninth.
