Not content with beating seven times Welsh Premier Champions Barry Town, elsewhere Monmouth Town still managed to celebrate a catch as they wrapped up a continuing sponsorship deal with digital print and design company WyeMedia.

The two-year agreement will mean the Town can continue to print their Welsh Programme of the Year and also includes upgraded web presence in exchange for the high profile shirt sponsorship. WyeMedia director Chris McGowan was delighted to continue the partnership.

"We got involved with the club two seasons ago and they haven't stopped winning since," he said.

"We're both progressive, forward looking companies doing our best for Monmouth so it's a great fit."

Town chairman Lee Robson, pictured with Chris, was also enthusiastic about the future.

"Chris and his team have been fantastic over the past two seasons and long may it continue," he said.

"We've won programme of the year in each of the past two seasons and Chris can turn the editions around within a day.

"He's always on time and the quality of the print means we get the awards and a little prize money."

The Kingfishers are sitting pretty in their first season in the top flight of Welsh League football having only been beaten twice this season, reaching the second round of the Welsh Cup where they have drawn Mid Wales outfit Newbridge on Wye.

A win takes them to the third round for the first time ever and a chance to play a Welsh premier team who enter in the third round. Another win then and it could mean a televised tie on Welsh football programme Scorio.

The reserve team also have a 100 per cent record so far this term and the Under 19s are third in their division.

Lee continued: "Obviously WyeMedia are our main sponsors but we are still on the lookout for programme sponsors, and also for our match highlights YouTube programme, which is also proving popular."
