After a successful season Monmouth Town's Kingfishers are beginning preparations for life in Welsh League Division One and are asking their supporters to pick the kit they will wear.
The new home strip, sponsored by WyeMedia, will be chosen from four designs put forward by manufacturers Errea and people can vote on the clubs message board, or through their membership organisation http://www.fivepoundfootballclub.com">www.fivepoundfootballclub.com
Chairman Lee Robson encouraged people to have their say.
"Unlike Cardiff City's rebrand we want local people, players, parents and supporters to have a vote and although it's a bit of fun all of our teams wear the kit from five to seniors so it also matters.
"We want to look good when we represent the town don't we?"
Option 1 – this is Brazil themed and all components are "off the shelf" meaning that supply and minimum quantities are no issue.
Option 2 – this is based on the award-winning Errea Norwich City home strip for season 11-12. The design is fantastic but supply would have to be carefully managed if we do not want to invest in holding any stock. The shirt would also be more expensive with a reduced retail margin.
Option 3 – this simple design showcases the orange flash on the blue shorts. Once again, everything is "off the shelf".
Option 4 – this brand new "off the shelf" asymmetrical design is proving popular and is the favourite with players and supporters locally.
