ROCKFIELD Rovers under-16s have secured their third trophy in the space of two months.

The junior side beat Hereford Academy 2-0 in the final of the Sue Parry six-a-side tournament, run by charity St Michael's Hospice, on Sunday 5th July.

Having played three games before the final, the under-16s took the victory over Hereford, before narrowly missing out on a final spot in the senior section, losing in the semi finals to Hereford under-18s.

In June, the side also picked up two trophies in Cardiff and Hereford, scoring 30 goals and conceding just three in the two tournaments.
