KESTREL Gymnasts performed well at the Welsh Floor and Vault Championships in Cardiff recently, performing floor routines with somersaults and twists.

In the under 10 section Joel Kohler-Hoon received a fourth place ribbon, and 11-year-old Tom Hook received a sixth place ribbon in the under 12 section.

In the under 16’s, 15-year-old Cameron Maggs was vault champion taking gold, and overall silver, with 16-year-old Sam Dallimore in the men’s section winning gold on floor, vault and overall champion.

Both Cameron and Sam performed good Tsukahara Vaults on the day.
