Chepstow Garden City Girls Football are looking for new players.

The team trains every Saturday at 9.30am on the pitches behind the Village Hall (by the shop) in St Arvans.

All skills and ages welcome from seven-year-old superstars to 14-year-old beginners.

The aim is to encourage girls to start playing and to enjoy football.

Matches aren't taken too seriously (except those against the boys) and everybody is welcome.

There is even a café in the clubhouse serving hot drinks and hot dogs after the training.
