EIGHT local teams have drawn home games for this Saturday’s cup-ties but spare a thought for Portskewett and Sudbrook FC who face a daunting task at Gwent County League Division Two outfit New Inn.

Portskewett and Sudbrook are in Division Two of the East Gwent Senior League and it will take a monumental effort to earn a place in the second round.

Although drawn at home, Severn Tunnel will need to produce a great performance to progress against Division 2 table-toppers Spencer Youth & Boys although Mathern won 3-1 at Spencer in September, their own defeat so far.

Caldicot Castle host Glenside Rovers while Blackrock Rovers welcome Division 2’s Clydach Wasps.

Underwood Social Club’s A team have been drawn at home to Croesyceiliog Athletic, Mathern FC welcome Division Three leaders Wattsville while Bailey Rangers will visit Mill Lane to take on Sudbrook CC.

Finally, Rockfield Rovers are home to West of St Julians and Thornwell Red and White should know enough about Division Three’s Tranch FC to book a place in the next round.
