ORGANISERS have been out in the woods making the last preparations for next weekend’s Forest of Dean autumn fun run.

The five kilometre run is organised alongside the Forest of Dean autumn half marathon using the same facilities.

The start and finish are on Speech House field. There is ample free parking on site.

The half marathon starts at 10am and the five kilometre run starts at 10:15am with all the 5km runners finishing ahead of the longer distance runners. All proceeds are donated to local charities and good causes. The five kilometre run is suitable for runners of all abilities.

Online registration for both runs is now closed but there will be on the day registration for the 5km race until 9:30am.
