Newbridge CC 184 all out
Sudbrook CC won by six wickets
MATTHEW Kinchin scored an undefeated century to help Sudbrook firsts beat visiting Newbridge by six wickets at Mill Lane.
Newbridge won the toss and decided to bat first and although James Morgan (41), Jamie Baker (31) and Ryan Watkins (41) gave them a solid start, they lost their next three batsmen for the addition of just one run and despite William Ford’s battling 28, their innings stuttered to 184 all out with nearly five overs remaining.
Sudbrook’s bowling honours went to Ben Supple who took three wickets for the loss of only five runs in his 3.1 overs – one of which was a maiden!
Martin Norton and Rhys Pescod were the pick of the rest.
In reply, Micky Martin lost fellow opener Bradley Bates for four but rallied with Kinchin to reach 50 before departing.
Lewis Morgan (5) and Joe Voke (14) saw Sudbrook through to 186 in the 40th over.
