End of season awards for club’s top performers

SUDBROOK CC celebrated the summer season when the annual presentation evening was held in the clubhouse.

Scott O’Leary scooped two awards, for Players’ Player and Young Player.

The club also recognised the excellent first season of its Ladies Softball Cricket team with a number of players there.

Ross Lewis was the First XI’s top scorer with Mitchell Slape taking the trophy as leading wicket taker.

Neil Pearson was top scorer for the Second XI, with Rob Simmons taking the most wickets, while for the Third XI Andrew Palmer won the top batsman award with the bowling honours going to Gordon Voke.

The important contributions of the club’s tea ladies and groundsmen were also recognised with awards.
