Chepstow Football Club A maintained their push for the Chepstow and District Darts 'A League' titles as they beat the Burnt Barn Club B 6-0 in the singles and 6-3 in the pairs, with the football club's Steve Swallow hitting a 180. They remain second in the singles, one point behind the Village Inn B and level with the same team at the top of the pairs, the Village Inn B keeping up their good form beating the Severn Bridge Social Club 6-0 and 8-1, with both Lee Ford and Jon Worsely hitting 180s. In the 'B League', The Five Alls had a convincing night to keep alive their hopes of winning both singles and doubles titles as they won 6-0 and 9-0 away to Chepstow Football Club C. The Kings Head picked up a good victory beating the Village Inn A 4-2 in the singles and 6-3 in the pairs. In Shirenewton, the Carpenters Arms won convincingly 6-0 in the singles against the Sloop Inn, and just edged the pairs match 5-4. Next week sees a break from the league action as the teams compete in the six-a-side knockout cup, the competition will be at four venues with the winner at each venue going through to the semi finals.
