MONMOUTH Tri Club had a busy and successful Bank Holiday weekend, racing in all three disciplines.
On Saturday, in the season's first Create Swim 1,300m race at Bristol Open Water, Victoria Baker was first in 18 minutes and two seconds, Caroline Jones second in 18.7 and Trish Chalk fourth lady in 21.22.
Phil Tilley was the first man, in 20.20. Victoria was also the first lady, and seventh overall, at last week's First Tri triathlon at Lydney.
Sunday saw cycling events with Phil Tilley completing the "epic" distance of the Wiggle Wye Valley Warrior event, along with Gareth Jones and Richard Newhouse, Stuart Kramer completed the Monmouthshire Challenge and Tim Morris the Tour de Yorkshire Sportive.
Not to be outdone, in running Julian Boon completed the 53 mile Malvern Hills Ultra, finishing 17th in 10 hours 20 mins while Richard Newhouse and Debbie Stenner completed the Devauden 10k.
