Thank you at the Beacon for all the information concerning the thousands of pounds spent on the consultants fees charged for the awful design for Monmouth Town Centre.

The Chamber of Commerce wrote their article saying that the new and present designs have not helped the shop keepers as they cannot afford the prices set by the owners but mainly they have been unable to sell enough produce forming an income for themselves.

The High Street is  full of hairdressers and food eating places. There are not enough parking places for  cars or delivery vehicles now or in the future if these new plans come into force.

Please use common sense about Monmouth.  Just put the  whole street back as it was in the beginning and let’s just get on with life as we know it should be.
