SIR,

Anyone who did not visit St Mary's Church on Wednesday 9th October, missed a treat.

The Voskresenije singers from St Petersburg, Russia, were outstanding.

There were eight in total and the clarity of the voices was simply extraordinary, with individual personalities to match.

It was an evening of wonderfully different to the norm music and sheer delight. One not to be missed next year.
