A woman was taken to hospital following a crash on the A40 last Thursday (31st March).
Two cars – a silver Vauxhall Astra and a blue Peugeot – were involved in the collision on the slip road onto the A40 from Cinderhill Street, just after the Gibraltar tunnels.
The female driver of the Astra was taken to Nevill Hall Hospital with back injuries that were not life-threatening.
Police were called at 5.05pm, recovered the vehicles and cleared the road by 7pm.
A rapid response vehicle and two emergency ambulances also attended the scene.
