After nearly six years of painstaking rebuilding Alan and Susie Parslow can take a well earned rest. They are now looking forward to welcoming visitors to their four Open Days in 2008. The East Tower has been roofed over with the walls, pigeon nest boxes and two garderobes have been restored, along with an easy visitors access. The large collapse in the East Wall has been rebuilt with 200 tons of new and old stone. Also the gardens have been redesigned with rockeries and rose beds. The Castle will be open to the public on Easter Monday March 24th, May Bank Holiday May 5th, Sunday, June 22nd and Sunday, August 3rd.
