SIR,
Everyone should make a Will. It's something we know we need to do but maybe never quite get round to. More than one in four people put it off until it is too late.
A clearly written Will, kept updated throughout your life, is essential to ensure that your wishes are respected. Will for Wildlife Week makes this easy.
Gain peace of mind by putting your affairs in order. In so doing, you can help Gwent Wildlife Trust to continue to protect and enhance our local area.
Gifts from local people have already helped us to protect endangered species, buy and manage Nature Reserves such as Wyeswood Common, educate and inspire children and campaign on behalf of wildlife.
None of this could have been achieved without the generous help of our supporters – you really can make a difference.
Should you wish to leave the Trust a legacy in your Will, it's worth remembering that gifts to registered charities are exempt from Inheritance Tax thereby maximising your donation.
During Will for Wildlife Week (6 – 12th October) five local firms of solicitors have agreed to waive or reduce their fees for simple wills.
All they ask in return for this service is that you consider making a donation to Gwent Wildlife Trust, a local conservation charity working to make the local area a better place for people and wildlife.
Will for Wildlife Week runs from 6th – 12th October 2008. For more information and a list of participating solicitors please contact Kay Rymer on 01600 740 358.
