THERE is still time to get a poppy ahead of Remembrance Day, with stalls across Monmouth open to the community.

The Royal British Legion has a stand outside Shire Hall which will be open until today, operating from 9am until 3pm.

Other locations across Monmouth, including Waitrose and Co op, also have volunteers at stands offering poppies and other Remembrance merchandise in exchange for donations.

All donations will go towards the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal helping the Armed Forces, veterans and their families.
