MONMOUTH Photographic Club will be hosting its Welsh Photographic Federation Memorial Trophy this month at their annual photography competition.

The event is taking place on February 21 at Dingestow Village Hall, with doors opening from 9.30am. It is a prestigious photographic competition and approximately 15 photographic clubs from all over Wales are expected to attend and bring entries.

There are three competitions, one each for colour prints, monochrome prints and projected images. Based on previous competitions, the standard photography will be very high.

Entry to the event is free but tea and coffee will be available during the day for a small charge, and they will also be holding a raffle with prizes on offer.
