Am I alone in being sickened by the sight of ragwort along Monmouthshire roads?

The Welsh Office keeps telling farmers to control the weeds under the 1959 Weeds Act, yet does nothing to enforce the local authorities and British Rail to do the same.

Monmouthshire and the Vale of Glamorgan are amongst the worst offenders.

Don't they realise what a toxic plant it is?
