SIR,

On the afternoon of Saturday, August 22nd., my daughter was married to her New Zealander fiancé at St Mary's Roman Catholic Church, St Mary's Street, Monmouth.

It was a wonderful day marred only by the loss of a video camera, which had been entrusted to a cousin and which was used at the Church but was subsequently lost;.

Consequently, we do not have a video record of the service. As you can imagine we are all very upset and disappointed that this should have happened and have pursued all avenues to find the camera.

We can only conclude that someone has seized the opportunity to 'borrow' it. It is of course the record of the service that we are most distressed about as this is irreplaceable and the camera is not.

For this reason we are prepared to accept the loss of the camera if the person who has it would be willing to send us the memory card, after all it is of no interest to anyone except our family and friends.

Anyone who has any relevant information should contact the newspaper.
