The Royal British Legion are again promoting a National Two Minutes' Silence at 11am on Sunday 11th November, this being in memory of those who lost their lives in the two world wars and conflicts since.

In Monmouth, this will form part of the service at Monmouth War Memorial on Sunday, followed by a service in the church.

In Raglan, the silence will be observed as part of the service at Raglan War Memorial on Sunday. This service will commence at 10.50am.

Again in Raglan there will be a combined service churches service afterwards in the community centre.

Please observe the silence wherever you are and wear a poppy with pride.
