SIR,
We are trying to find Nancy as she was an old friend of my mother-in-law Malvina Ford who recently passed away and my father-in-law, Robert Ford, would dearly love to let her know this sad news and to reconnect with her.
All I really know is that she was born Nancy Baker in about 1942, she had a sister called Marion who married Albert Screen, a Thornbury Town football player, and they lived in Thornbury, Nr Bristol.
I know she worked at Bristol Siddley Engines, Patchway, Bristol in around 1959 where she met Malvina, they worked together and they became firm friends.
She married a man called Ronnie Robbins and they had two sons, Mark now approximately 45 years, and Tim now approximately 40 years.
She left Ronnie in about 1986 and we know neither her ex- husband or her sons have had any contact with her since that day.
We understand she met a new partner, and my in-laws heard through the grapevine that she had moved to the Chepstow area.
We do not know if she remarried. Several years ago she bumped into my mother-in-law's sister Christina in Debenhams in Bristol and she gave Christina her contact details to pass onto Malvina but unfortunately the details got lost and she was never able to find her.
If it helps to trigger memories Robert and Malvina adopted twin boys in 1970 called Robbie and Jamie.
We can be contacted on 07501282725.
