WATERY Lane will be closed this Sunday for emergency works.

Monmouthshire County Council Operations will close the road from part-way down, near Tower View, between 8am and 4pm on 15th April.

The council is blaming emergency tree works for the closure, which are required to prevent damage to the brook retaining wall.

The lane will be closed to motorists and pedestrians, but access will be maintained for residents and emergency services at all times.
