Monmouth RFC Warriors (Under 14's)
v St.Josephs Newport
With last week's home match against Pontypool Colts being cancelled due to the weather, Monmouth Warriors have only had one home match so far this season.
Travelling does not bother The Warriors and a strong squad travelled to Newport on a blustery, showery day, prepared to do battle.
The Warriors started very strongly and dominated the early stages. Once again the early domination was not converted into points, but the conditions made it difficult and with the Warriors wanting to play open rugby some mistakes were made.
A second Monmouth try had to come and from a line out close to the St Joseph's line a front ball move saw hooker Oscar Hughes drive over for what proved to be the winning try - a win for the Warriors 10-5.
