SIR,

On the 3rd March we are being asked to vote on granting more powers to the Welsh Assembly.

This is a very important decision and you should use your vote, because a yes vote could cost you a lot of money.

The Welsh Assembly is a very expensive talking shop.

So far all it has managed to do is waste a lot of our money.

Check your council tax bills since the assembly came into being.

I think you will find they have risen over 300 percent.

Why should we give them more power to waste more?

The assembly has also managed to let our children's education deteriorate down to third world levels.

Its bureaucratic and parochial attitude towards business has assisted in its decline.

Much of the grants offered to business are usually swallowed up by bureaucracy and red tape.

The politicians of all parties are urging you to vote yes. Why?

Maybe because they can see more power, better pay more chance of bigger expenses.

You can bet the first thing they will do is bring their salary levels and expenses allowances in line with Westminster, because they will claim an increase in responsibility.

So if you think we have more politicians than we need make sure you vote no and try to save us all some money.

Failure to vote is the same as a yes vote.
