Kymin View Primary School Pupils took part in their school Eisteddfod on 2nd March. All the pupils were celebrated and awarded many prizes for their fantastic achievements in celebrating the Welsh language and culture through art, singing, poetry recitals and written stories. The pupils were in their four houses, and it was a wonderful success. Staff were particularly impressed with the number of pupils who had completed entries at home with their families on the theme of "What Wales Means to Me", there were LEGO dragons, 3D castles and love spoons. The highest award was given to a year 6 pupil, Eric, who was named "Bard of the Eisteddfod". Eric wrote a lengthy story based on the myth of the Afanc.
